The Director
T. L. Williams-Dumas, Director

Tevita Williams-Dumas, DirectorT. L. Williams-Dumas has studied dance for over 25 years. Tevita is the elementary movement education/dance specialist for Memphis City Schools (MCS) System at Rozelle Creative and Performing Arts Elementary School and MCS Blues Renaissance Camp & Fine Arts Camp Choreographer. She was awarded a 2004 Rotary Award for Teacher Excellence. Tevita is also an award-winning choreographer in ballet, jazz, modern, & baton. Many of her students have won scholarships to regional and national competitions. Tevita is a member of several professional organizations that help improve the quality of life and the performing arts: Dance Educators of America, Tennessee Association of Dance, Tennessee Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation, & Dance, Girl Scouts of America, The National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa Inc. (Beta Eta Chapter), Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. (Memphis Alumnae Chapter), & The National Council of Negro Women.

Her choreography has earned her Best Choreography Awards for Dance Educators of America Regionals, Platinum Awards, various experience nationwide ranging from pageants and cotillions to show stopping numbers.

Bettye. F. Williams, Assistant DirectorBettye F. Williams has taught and studied the performing arts for over 33 years. She is a veteran teacher in the Marshall County Schools System with over 3 decades of experience. Mrs. Williams has taught dance and baton in the Marshall County Schools System for over 30 years and in the Memphis Park Commission for over 20 years. She is an award-winning choreographer with superior ratings in Field and Parade Corps for the State of Mississippi.
